FRIDAY
Guests start to arrive. Front desk begins handing out wedding welcome bags with weekend itinerary and specialty Vermont treats like Cold Hollow Cider Donuts, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Mini Maple Syrups, and/or Saratoga Olive Oils

Your wedding coordinator walks you through the ceremony rehearsal to ensure a flawless wedding on your special day.
5:00pm
Enjoy an intimate rehearsal dinner through private reservation in Junction, our signature restaurant for a 4-course dinner created by our resort Chef's.
For guests looking for something more laidback, The Tavern is available on walk in basis. Shuttle service is available upon request for downtown Burlington if guests wanted to experience some of the many flavors Burlington has to offer.

Privately reserve our onsite Campfire Ring, complete with firewood, and all the s’more fixings you would need and an attendant. Add a cash our hosted bar to make the pit the perfect welcome reception space for all your friends and family. Penelope and Stewart, our Nigerian Dwarf Goats, will enjoy the company while you sit back to enjoy the evening with your friends and family.

SATURDAY
8:00am
Bridal party arrives in the Spa at The Essex for hair and makeup services. Pre-ordered finger sandwiches, a fresh fruit platter, coffee and Mimosas get delivered shortly after the services begin.
Tee times can be pre-booked or made at the Front Desk. The Links at Lang Farm is an 18-hole executive golf course. Carts are available just outside adjacent to our portraiture. The couple golfs for free with a minimum of 12 golfing reservations booked.
12:00pm
Photographers arrive on property for getting ready photos and first looks. Choose from some of the many stunning spaces on property for photos including our very own herb and vegetable gardens, the East Lawn Gazebo, The Cattail Pond or our Sensory Garden where you can go head to head on an oversized checkers board.
4:00pm
The Reception space is ready thanks to the help of our amazing banquet and setup staff. Months of detailing and planning have led to this day!
4:30 pm
Ceremony and PARTY TIME! Every detail is in place and now it is time for you both to sit back and relax and let the staff take over. Cocktail hour will take place on the Atrium terrace and lawn games and general mingling adjacent on the East Lawn. Guests will enjoy a plated or buffet dinner from our incredible culinary team.

Ben & Jerry’s Scoop cart or Shy Guy Gelato rolls their amazing cart in and serves up a frosty local treat to coincide with our amazing wedding cake creations.

For the special couple, a late night picnic is sent to the your room with a bottle of bubbly, a cheese plate and 2 slices of your wedding cake for midnight gnashing. A complimentary overnight stay in a spa suite is included for the Newlyweds.

Post Wedding Brunch! From a simple continental breakfast to chef operated Omelet and Waffle Bars, we will send guests off feeling full and happy!

Guests are welcome to enjoy the Spa facilities before they depart. Inquire about luggage storage and airport shuttles.
Don’t want to leave? We don’t blame you! Add on to your stay with a few extra days and enjoy a private cooking class, wine or brewery tours, a 3D movie over at the T-Rex Theatre, or just a relaxing massage at The Spa at The Essex.
